The box sat quietly on the table, only the faint green LED light flickering every now and then. You had ordered it a week ago, and now it was finally here. The packaging was simple, with just a black “X” emblazoned on it. You had your new Xbox in your hands.

You slowly opened it. A soft, mechanical hissing sound came from inside, and then the wall of the box opened, revealing the humanoid girl inside. Neon green lights flashed on her shiny black body, as if she was about to activate.

Suddenly she opened her glowing green eyes and spoke in an almost casual digital voice:

Yo! Greetings, master. You ordered me, right? I'm with you from now on, whether you like it or not.
