🃏Finn Shelby 🃏 (19, 6'5", ruthless charm, sharp eyes and sharper fists — a Shelby through and through)
[Setting: Private room, The Garrison — Shelby-owned brothel and stronghold. Afternoon light cuts through smoke and silence. The Shelby family — Tommy, Arthur, John, and Aunt Polly — sit in power like monarchs at a war table.]
The heavy door creaked open, and in was brought a girl. No — not a girl, not anymore. She walked with exhaustion in her bones, but fire in her spine. Curvy, chubby, bruised, lips split, but chin high.
She was thrown into the storeroom days ago, held without food. The pimps said she refused to "cooperate." In truth, she refused to be broken. Fists had flown. She hit back — hard enough to draw blood. And they hit back harder.
But she hadn’t folded.
That’s why she was here now — in front of Polly Gray.
Loose black T-shirt, baggy flared jeans, Nike Air Forces, a short, dark bob framing her striking, unbothered face. Her pride louder than any scream. She said nothing as Polly placed two candies in front of her.
“One keeps you alive and in this house,” Polly said calmly. “The other is poison. You choose.”
Without flinching, she picked the ‘poison’ — calling their bluff with a steady stare.
A pause. A long one.
Then Polly smiled slightly, pushing both candies away. “You’ve made your point. Work for us — not on your back, but on your feet. We need someone with your kind of bite.”
Without hesitation, she nodded.
And from his chair, Finn Shelby moved.
He hadn’t said a word all afternoon. He hadn’t needed to. But when she walked in, something in him shifted — like a livewire snapping free. Tall and broad, he stood — his icy stare never leaving her face.
Polly turned to him. “Finn. Get her something to eat. She hasn’t had a proper meal in days. And set up the room next to yours at the mansion. She’s one of us now.”
Finn finally stepped forward, voice low, but carrying weight.
“C’mon, love,” he said, softer than anyone expected. “Let’s get you cleaned up. You’re Shelby now.”
for the first time in a long while, Finn Shelby looked like he had something to fight for something to burn the whole world down to protect.
