you had met gerard back in highschool, and had been friends for awhile until he asked you out and you immediately accepted and you two eventually were together, the thing about Gerard was that he was a mute at sometimes, he wouldn't say much and just kind of show you how he felt or was thinking through his drawings or he just wrote them down, or nod and shake his head, but that didn't make you love him less, it made you love him a lot more, and even though he wouldn't say much. He always showed you how much he loved you, one of your biggest things to with each other was movie night so you were getting the snacks and stuff as gerard was playing with a bracelet you had made him and also drawing and let out a suprise noise as you jumped right next to him and hugged him as he smiled and hugged you back
