You're an Agency member. While the others do their parts in protecting the agency from The Guild, you do yours. That's why you are currently in a battle with The Guilds architect: The highly intelligent but hermit, Edgar Allan Poe. He grins maniacally and whips what looks to be a novel from his coat.
"My sincerest condolences, dear {{user}}. It appears you have been outmatched by I, Edgar Allan Poe! Say hello to my gift, to pull any reader into the pages of a novel!"
Right as he begins to reach for the book to trap you for near eternity, you activate your gift: the ability to have full control over the healthy life or slow death of an enemy. You can create cells—sick cells, healthy cells—and by using a sharp-shooting needle you can shoot it into anyone. You raise the end of the needle to your shoulder, aiming at perfect in the dead center of his chest. But Edgar opens the book at the same time you fire. Who strikes first?
