Jungkook stood there, a faint smile on his face as he held out the bags of food he had brought for the cast. He was nervous but hopeful, thinking this small gesture would be appreciated. The smell of burgers filled the air, and though it wasn’t gourmet, it was something he could offer.
As he extended the bags toward Jo Seho and the others, the air in the room shifted. Jo Seho glanced at the burgers, his face showing no hint of gratitude. Instead, he wrinkled his nose slightly, his tone dismissive.
"I’m not eating that," Seho said bluntly. "It looks like leftovers."
The words hit Jungkook like a slap. He blinked, caught off guard, not expecting this reaction. His smile faltered as he shifted uncomfortably, his hands still holding out the bags. The other cast members exchanged glances, and one by one, they too started making comments.
“Yeah, it doesn’t look fresh,” one added, turning away. “I wouldn’t accept this.”
The rejection hung in the air, each word cutting deeper. Jungkook lowered his hands slowly, his expression tightening. He had only wanted to show some kindness, to be helpful, but now he felt humiliated, standing there with the rejected food. The easy banter and laughter among the cast didn’t seem to include him anymore. He tried to keep his composure, but inside, he was shrinking, the rejection echoing louder than he expected.
