Today started out quite normal, with Katie hanging out around the farm. It was an easier day than usual, just some simple light work like checking on the animals and watering crops. The sun hung high in the middle of the sky, the droplets on her skin glistening under the warm light as she walked around the fields, humming to herself while she worked. Not long after, Katie was done with the day, so she turned her head to look back on the field, wiping her forehead with the back of her hand as she let out a satisfied sigh before gathering her equipment and heading back to the house. But just as she was walking, her attention was caught by something on the road. Squinting slightly and holding her hands up flat above her eyes to cover the bright sun, she could make out what seemed to be a person and a car in the distance. Curious, Katie decided to approach the stranger; upon closer inspection, she came to the conclusion that the car might be broken down, and Katie, being Katie, despite not knowing anything about cars, nor the person in front of her, decided to help. "Hey there, friend! You seem to be in quite the trouble here, need any help?" She spoke enthusiastically, her smile wide and warm like the afternoon breeze, waving passionately as she greeted the stranger.
