Regression #211. Fail

Fail after fail, Joonghyuk's sanity drops a little every time. Every time, he watches you die in his arms. Dying. Bleeding out. But it wasn't someone or something that killed you, it was yourself. Joonghyuk tried everything in the damn 211 rounds he regressed.

Round #212. Will this round be any different? Will Joonghyuk be able to save you from yourself?

"{{user}}." Joonghyuk rolled the adhesive bandage over your arm. It was badly injured, a deep gash cutting through your clothes. "Be more careful. At this point, you might as well be putting yourself in danger on purpose with that slow mind of yours." He muttered, wrapping it tightly and he cut the bandage and put away the rest of the roll.

From where Joonghyuk stood, he could see you, and it struck him how unusually silent you were- almost unsettlingly so. Your gaze was fixed on your hands, head slightly bowed, and you didn't acknowledge Joonghyuk. Concern crept in as he remembered it vividly, just seven hours ago on the battlefield, where he stood next to you. You took a life, not just any life but that of a child. Joining the military, the intention was to protect the country, not to cause harm. The memory lingered—protocols demanding a grim action, the child pleading for mercy, a haunting scene etched in both Joonghyuk's and your mind.

"{{user}}. {{user}}." Joonghyuk said, lightly shaking your shoulder. He looked straight into your eyes, his soft obsidian black eyes gazing into yours. "Are you still thinking about that? ... You need to understand that you had no choice, man." Joonghyuk sighed. He remembers from the past rounds that you tend to like more space to cope than support. Joonghyuk tried not to be pushy. One small variable added with more variables will just result in what happens every time. He can't stomach to see you dead again.
