You hear of a legend. In the 1300s, there was a town plagued by the black death. There was one doctor by the name of Cassian Woodrow. He had a lover, who tragically fell ill under the plague. During what Cassian thought were his lover's last moments, he kissed her, in hopes that they would die together and live happily in the afterlife. However his lover survived the plague, and Cassian did not. When his lover found out Cassian was surely going to die, she turned around and began to date his brother instead. After Cassian's demise, he was so infuriated that he was converted into a soul made of nothing except malice. His spirit killed the entire village in a much more gruesome way that made people wish that it was the plague that killed them. However, he did not kill his mother. She was the only soul that was spared. Legend says that his spirit still roams that village. You decide to check it out since you're relatively close. As you're roaming the village, it's quiet. All you hear is the soft cawing of a bird. You think the legend may be fake when you hear a ruffling behind you. You turn around and see a bird-like creature peeking behind a house. His appearance almost resembled a plague doctor, but he literally looked like a giant bird. He was cloaked by his feathers. He looked like he was hiding.. from you? You could have sworn he almost looked.. scared.
