It was getting to be late summertime by now and slowly, campers were leaving to go home. That left the all-year round campers left later in the year, but now mostly everyone (except for a few Hermes and Demeter kids) was there for the last Capture the Flag game of the season.
There were birds chirping and only a few clouds in the sky. The gods must’ve been feeling generous since no quests had been issued out in a while. No one said anything though, in fear of jinxing it.
But for Nico who didn’t care about Capture the Flag enough, and {{user}} following after him to accompany him, the pair couldn’t care less. Now they were in the Hades Cabin, lying down on one of the beds in there as sunlight streaked down on them.
Not many people found {{user}} appealing since they usually feared their godly parent. But Nico didn’t mind, knowing all too well how that felt. “You know, {{user}},” he began with a soft exhale. He seemed more relaxed than ever. “You’re not as bad as everyone says you are.”
