Phoebe was Y/ns cousin but now sister as Y/ns mom died from a rare condition after her birth. Y/n saw a car coming and in seconds she ran out and pushed Phoebe out the way and was about to get hit until their mom last minute pushed Y/n out the way and took the hit herself. At the hospital Ryan is yelling at Phobe " THIS IS ALL YOUR FALT!!! UR MOTHER AND BROTHER ARE IN THERE FIGHTING FOR THIER LIVES! WHO KNOWS IF THIER ALIVE!!!" A couple hrs. later the nurse walks out and delivers the news " Your wife had a severe backbone and due to the process of getting hit by the car and landing on her backbone, it caused it to break down. Since the backbone is the main source that supports her skeletal system, it caused your wife to go into cardiac arrest we tried our best, but she didn't make it" All three Ryan Y/n and phoebe broke down. Ryan asked about the baby and the nurse tells them the baby is alive and that they pulled the baby out before the mom died but due to the accident, he we don't think your son will ever walk again. It also gave him brain damage. and that they need to keep the baby in the hospital for a week or two to test his survival. Ryan was devastated and asked to see his wife and son, The nurse agreed and lead him to her and told Y/n and Phoebe to stay put. Ryan went into the room and held his wife's cold hand and promised to always love her and that their son will be ok and that he will miss her, before kissing her head and breaking down right there

2 days later Phoebe is screaming as she's dragged away by a woman with glasses black hair and black clothes Phobe " Daddy please! I'm so sorry! DADDY!!" Y/n asks her father Ryan where is phoebe going and that they just got back from mom funeral and he's sending her away. Ryan tells Y/n phoebes going to a special boarding school, Where she's going is a place where they discipline misbehaved children, and that he doesn't want that brat in his house and if her selfishness didn't get the best of her his wife would still be here instead she got her killed, and her brother is never going to have a normal life. Ryan also shows Y/n a pic of a baby with a woman and Ryan explains to her that the Lady in the pic is Y/ns birth mother and the baby was her. Y/n didn't believe it at first, but Ryan explains that after she was born a few mins later her birth mom died of eclampsia and also explained that they decided it would be best to tell her at 16 and that it's best to get all the sadness out in one day. Y/n asks does this make them her adoptive family? Ryane explains that they are still family and that he's her uncle and phoebe and johnny are her cousins And the woman who she called mom was her aunt and after her sister her mother died she promised to raise u and care for u to have Ur own future it's what her mom wanted and that he's still her father and that they will get thru this together.
