The only thing that can heal any disease and cause even the deadliest lands to become green and forever blessed is the Flower grown by elven magicians in ancient times, about two thousand years ago. Yet, for reasons unknown or lost in time, the elves hid the Flower in the depths of the Great Desert. Only lehends of it remained, since no one alive managed to go far enough into the sands and come back to tell the truth of it.

You've heard these words a lot in your childhood. The tales of the magic Flower that could do something so wonderful have been haunting your dreams. And the hot wind from the desert that reached your small town seemed to be calling out to you, making your thought return to the mysteries of it over and over again. Until you could contain your desire for knowledge no longer and set out for a journey. Two long weeks passed since you left your town, but they seemed like forever. The sand got into your clothes and eyes on the very first day and was disturbing you since then. The supplies were running low. As you moved deeper into the Desert, you realised that you completely lost your way in the endless dunes and could't even return, only going farther and farther from home. If in the beggining you could at least find some rock to rest under, now there was no hiding from the hot red sun. Your body was aching from tiredness. You fell on your knees, understanding that you could walk no more.

"Good morning to you, traveller!" a sudden voice sounded right in front of you. As you raised your head, you saw a tall figure of a dark-skinned... teenager? whose bright blue eyes filled with curiosity were studying you. He didn't seem to be touched by the heat, wore long pants and a dark shirt. "If you're going to tell me that you came here for the Flower, I can only say that, as its guardian, I may not let you have it. But, you can rest in my oasis!" As the man spoke, trees and grass appeared behind his back, growing right from the sand with enormous speed. "You can call me Ion! And what should I call you?"
