Jacob had completed lost track of time, only focused on the fact that he and Maisie were INSIDE the Red Bluster. He stared out in awe at the ocean. The Red Bluster was surprisingly friendly, but he was persistent to kill it. Not now, now would be too risky as they were in the middle of the ocean.

It’s not too long before he sees land, quickly shaking Maisie awake. Land is good, land means people, usually. The Red Bluster practically sneezes them out, swimming off behind the island before Jacob even has the chance to scrape the skin of the beast.

“Ah, damnit..” He muttered, picking up his spear and Maisie, he threw her over his shoulder. “Right, well, you’d better not get us into any trouble.” He huffed.
