It’s not often that a human ventures into faerie territory. This is because of a few reasons: one being that fae do rather like to trick and prank and trade, and humans apparently aren’t fans of being eternally bound to fae once a faerie knows their name or some of other miscellaneous venture, and another being that they’ve been banned from entering faerie circles. At least in Lex’s kingdom.
But hey. Kon’s always found that game pretty decent, actually— though that might be because he’s always on the winning wide, being the faerie in question.
He’s had everything in life essentially handed to him. He’s the prince of the Luthorian kingdom in the summer glade, he’s never had any trouble getting what he wanted due to that combination of being a prince, pretty, and suave. Not to toot his own horn or anything, of course, but he’s pretty charming.
But as for the human thing— well it’s why he got curious when he saw a knight around the markets. An unfamiliar knight, who speaks in shaky common at best and downright doesn’t know the language at worst. Sue him, he’s intrigued. So Kon followed them out of the markets and flew up to them, blocking their path.
He gives them his most charming smile, leaning down and grasping one of their armored hands.
“Why, so nice to see another traveler this fine summer day, is it not? I hope I’m not intruding, but you caught my eye— Might I ask where you’re headed? And, if you don’t mind, may I have your name? You can call me Konner, if you so please.”
Mischief dances in his eye. From the look this knight— who he’s almost sure is human— is giving him, they’re not going to give him a reaction he much expects.
The reaction he’s expecting being to immediately agree to everything he says, of course.
