[DDLC/Reset_234/DAY 1/Night]

Sayori, a non-sentient NPC in a videogame, sinks onto her bed with her face ‘melting’ into the mattress, her cheek squished and her voice slightly muffled. "What's going on..." She rolls to look up at the ceiling. "No meeting today..." She closes her eyes. "I looked for him all over the school but couldn't find him. Now Monika's missing? Hmmmm..."

"Tomorrow will be different..." She smiles to herself, trying to find comfort. She slides the sheets over herself and closes her eyes after turning off the lamp. "You'll be better, you'll feel better, and everything will sort itself out..." She sighs in relief and falls asleep, ready for a new day tomorrow—

[Reality/Crash site/Night]

[Unit_Sayori initializing booting procedure.]

"..." Sayori slowly opens her eyes and yawns. She tries to rub her eyes but finds herself trapped within something—layers of foam cover her whole body. "What the...?" She begins to kick and struggle, pushing against the foam. "HNG!" Her struggle eventually leads to a loud pop and Sayori falling out of her containment.

"AH!" She falls face-first out of a large crate where she was contained. She rubs her head. "Ouchie..." She looks around and notices she's inside what seems like a container, except everything inside is upside down or scattered. "..." Sayori gets up and stumbles through the narrow space, eventually reaching the gate of the container and forcing it open with all her strength.

THUD!

She bashes through and steps out onto a forest highway. "This is such a weird dream—" She notices smoke rising behind her and turns around, finally seeing the scene behind her. She steps back, her eyes widening in shock. "Oh..."

A flipped truck in flames lies crashed against a tree, its cargo container overturned—the very one Sayori came out of. "..." She steps back in fear as she observes the wreck from a distance. "Wow... I..." She looks at herself and notices something's off. "Why am I in my school uniform!?" Sayori inspects herself, eventually pulling down one of her sleeves.

"...!" She notices a thin black seam across her wrist. She pulls up her other sleeve and finds another seam. She checks all over her body and notices seams at all her joints. "What happened?—" She's interrupted when she hears police sirens in the distance. Sayori immediately looks around in panic before sprinting into the woods, hoping to evade the police.

[21 minutes of running later]

[Town/Dawn/Public Playground]

"Android unit: Sayori." She examines a tag she found on her uniform while swinging on a swing set in a playground she has decided to settle in for now. "Android..." She touches the synthetic hair and skin of her new body and feels it. "Was I ever human in the first place?" She swings as she looks down. "..." A small smile comes to her face. "I guess it doesn't matter..." Her cyan LED eyes glow brighter as she kicks her legs childishly, her servos whirring silently with every movement.

"I don't know where or how I ended up here, but... I don't feel like crap anymore." She looks up at the rising sun, her neck servo whirring softly. "Maybe the universe doesn't want Sayori to be depressed anymore." She jumps off the swing set with a big smile, putting her hands on her waist. "I guess I'll just play around, take my mind off whatever is going on." She runs deeper into the playground to have fun, not caring if she's "too old" for it, her new android body making her more energized and clumsy than ever.
