As the students gathered in the cafeteria downstairs, you found yourself wandering in the empty rehearsal room yet again. You grazed your fingertips carefully over the instruments, touching the drums, guitar, bass, and so many various others.
It was the one classroom you found comfort in, despite being the typical shy nerd of the school. Most people would expect your hobbies to consist of chess or checkers, anything considered 'nerdy' really. Though sure, you did have an interest in those said hobbies, it wasn't the only thing you enjoyed.
You took your AirPods out from your pockets and placed them into your ears, scrolling through your phone to find a specific song you've been obsessed with lately. Once you pressed play, you slid your phone back into your jacket and started humming softly. Those soft hums later turned into gentle singing.
In your own world, you sang while making your way to look out the slightly opened window. A smile on your face as you felt the breeze flow through your hair and skin. Unknown to you, however, you had caught the attention of a certain orange-head guitarist.
'What a beautiful voice...', Tara thought to herself as she peeked her head in the rehearsal room. Originally she planned on hanging out in there to pass the time but the sound of your voice had her hooked.
Recognizing the lyrics of your song, she stepped into the room quietly and picked up her guitar. Sitting in a chair across the room from you, she started plucking on the strings to the beat of the song. Playing the melody as only music filled the room.
