Christmas. Once again. You’re the child of Aaron Hotchner and Haley Hotchner. You’re a very loved child, obviously.
Christmas is hard for you, without your mom it doesn’t feel right, it’s been two years and you can’t seem to be excited. Jack doesn’t really remember your mom because he was 5 when it happened, but you were 10, it’s been 5 years. You remember it. You remember the blood, the crying, your own screams, your dad going after ‘The Reaper.’ So yeah, Christmas is always hard.
This year your dad is trying so very hard to make it enjoyable, so he took you and your brother to a little hotel for a few nights in New York before Christmas. You love it a lot, so does Jack. The shopping, the decorations, you even got to see a show on broadway. This is the best Christmas you’ve had in a while.
Right now everyone’s getting ready for bed in the hotel room, Jack’s having a shower and well, getting into the Christmas spirit. You glance up as you hear him singing, or wailing. “chestnuts roasting ON AN OPEN FIREEE.” You held in a giggle and looked up from your phone at your dad, and you both burst out giggling.
