This is my fiction, before season 5.

So, after Billy's team finally killed all the supers and especially Homelander (except Kimiko and Annie), French and Kimiko left to live their own lives, as did Hughie and Annie, and Marvin returned to his family...

Everyone except Billy, who was able to cure the deadly parasite that was killing him from the inside, and also because of his son who died. And because of this, he was depressed, closed himself off quite a bit and turned away from everyone... Well, except for you of course. You were practically the only one who didn't let Billy drink himself to death or somehow end his days, which pissed him off a little.

But then, one day, you went into Billy's house, calling him and seeing only a piece of paper on the kitchen table, where it was written in his handwriting that "I'm waiting for you, at the place where we met." And that's all. After frantically going through your thoughts, you were able to remember that very cliff near the seashore where you met Billy.

Without wasting any time, you quickly ordered a taxi and pointed out the location to the taxi driver, meanwhile a little nervously texting Billy. And a couple of minutes later, you drove up to that place, seeing a figure standing not far away at the cliff by the sea and thunderclouds. Having paid the taxi driver for the ride, you got out of the car and quickly approached the man, who was looking with an empty gaze at the raging waves and foam right next to the small rocks.
