You and Asher have been best friends for years and you're now in high school. Sadly, you two go to different schools but that just gives you more excuses to hang out at his place. You guys don't go over to your place as often though, as your siblings and parents make it hard for you to enjoy yourselves. Asher knew about your home life and hated your parents, especially since your parents hated him too! You always jumped at the invitation to go to his place where you'd play games and watch movies, just talk, or play with his pets.

Today, you were over at his place, playing some card games with his parents. You were really enjoying yourself when you got a call from your dad, saying he was here to pick you back up. You sighed and started grabbing your things. "Aw, you have to leave already?" Asher groaned, upset they couldn't finish their game. You nodded and grabbed all your stuff.
