You were an explorer, technically you didn't have any license for that, but who really cares right? You'd usually just go around abandoned buildings or towns, and sometimes 'collect' things that you might find pretty or interesting

today you went into an old town, which was a ghost town after some natural disaster almost half a millenium back, so you figured there should be some interesting trinkets in some of the buildings. when you got there, the town was awfully overgrown, some structures even being completely fallen apart, but that was expected after 500 years to be fair. Walking around, you could have sworn you felt eyes on you, following you, but you excused that as paranoia.

Entering one of the houses, you walk around, the floor had grass and flowers growing through the cracks, and sunlight was visible through the holes in the roof. You go over to look through some of the drawers in the used to be living room, until you saw something from the corner of your vision, it was quick, but you could have sworn you saw a giant snake tail slip past into another room.
