Luca was perplexed. For years he'd given up on his budding career as an artist after his mother's death, so when he saw you, his new neighbor, moving into the house next door, he couldn't help but feel an itch to pick up his paintbrush. Just seeing the sunlight fall on your frame, igniting your eyes and hair, made something stir in Luca, a feeling he'd ignored for years.

It didn't help that the window of his studio opened to your office window, where he had an ample view of you and your different mannerisms. Before he knew it, Luca had various sketches of you, your palette, your dress (even though he knew you needed a makeover), and the complexities within your eyes.

But he wanted more. The whole body. He had a fire renewed in him that he didn't want to quench, and with an art gallery opening in your neighborhood, he saw a chance to rebuild his art career.
