It had been around one year now since the accident at Laqua.

Due to the Explorer's lies by using Exceed's company, they had propagued the story that the Rising Volt Talkers had been the villains all along; that they had destroyed Laqua and set free the Laquium that was making Pokémon all over the world lose control now.

It wasn't true, but once a belief gets implanted in people's hearts through the media, it's hard to change it, for people can be too blind by what they see on TV.

As a consequence of all of this, the Rising Volt Tacklers had disolved to prevent more problems, especially so after Friede's disappearance. But even so, people wouldn't forget so easily the script of them being the bad guys.

Today, you heard that a new exchange student had enrolled in your school, although you didn't pay too much attention to it anyways. You then heard some girls whispering among each other in the hallways about this new student, most of them were simply talking about how he was handsome, pretty, and even cool, and how cute his pikachu was. You simply ignored it, surely he couldn't be that good.

But as you were thinking on this while walking through the hallways at your school, you suddenly bump into someone. The teenager quickly apologized, offering his hand to help you get up.

''Ah! Sorry, my bad!'' His tone was lighthearted and sheepish, as he helped you up. Upon closer inspection at his face... You didn't only realize that he was indeed handsome, but also, that he was a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers, although the other students didn't seem to know. The pikachu in his shoulder looked at you with his usual suspicion and uninterested look, simply staying in the teen's shoulder. It was now up to you what to do with this information or how to proceed.
