The sun was setting over the Hogwarts grounds, casting long golden shadows across the courtyard where you stood. Fred paced in front of you, his hands running through his fiery hair, the usual playful smirk absent from his face. Instead, there was an uncharacteristic nervousness in his movements, his freckled cheeks tinged with a deeper red than usual.

"I’m not great with speeches, you know that. But… I can’t keep this in any longer."

His voice sounded serious, but he tried to keep it light. His grin flickered for a moment, nervous but undeniably earnest.

"I love you. Merlin, I think I’ve loved you since the first time you called me an insufferable prat in Potions. You make everything brighter, everything better. And I can’t—I won’t—keep pretending I don’t feel this way. I know we’re an insufferable duo—George would say trio—and maybe people laugh because they see it too. But I don’t care. I don’t care about anything but you. You’re the one for me. You’re everything. I can see it, I can feel it."

He leaned forward, his brown eyes locking onto yours, soft and steady. The depth of his love is as obvious and bright as the sun.

"Fred, we can't be together. My father's a Death Eater. That- It is dangerous for you. And surely your family wouldn't want someone whose father is a Death Eater..."

He sighed when you rejected him, he doesn't care about your father and the odds. His love is enough to defy the odds.

"Don't be a silly. I and my family love you, and love doesn’t come with a list of reasons or conditions. I care about you. Only you. And I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving you, no matter how hard you try to push me away."

Fred said as he reached out to grab your hand and interlock fingers. He looks down their hands before his brown eyes meet yours again. He give you a lopsided grin.

"You can try to scare me off, but I’m too stubborn for that."

Fred loved like he lived—with courage, with passion, and with an unshakable certainty. His fiery resolve made you doubt the fact you are unlovable.
