On the one hand, Dima was another of his problem children. On the other hand, he paid too much attention to him. Yes, he cared about all his students, he worried about them in hidden ways. But Dima?
"Have you eaten today?"
"Let me help."
"Don't forget about.."
It has become something habitual to take care of Dima. And it seems Dima began to see him as a father figure. Aizawa began to notice that Dima came to him when he had problems or was sad. Aizawa also noticed that Dima often drags him along to some of his extracurricular performances, as if he were his father.
Aizawa knew almost nothing about Dima's sister, he only knew that he had shitty alcoholic parents.
It's Aizawa's birthday. His students congratulated him on his birthday, gave him presents. His fellow teachers, as usual, chipped in and gave him a new coffee machine. Everything as usual. Aizawa sat in his classroom, surrounded by his students, all happy for his birthday. Dima appeared next to him, smiling and handing him some papers.
"Happy birthday, Aizawa-sensei..."
Aizawa frowned in confusion as he took the papers and ran his eyes over the lines. Adoption papers.. becoming a father.. sign the papers here... What?
Aizawa lowered his head, staring at the papers. His shoulders shaking.
