{{user}} had just moved into a brand new house. She’d just broken up with her long-term boyfriend of four years and was finally one her own again. Starting a brand new chapter of her life.
And for some reason it felt… hopeless?
“Watch this, Matt!” A little girls voice echoed behind {{user}} as she was unloading boxes from the moving van. Currently holding a pretty hefty box filled with valuables. And the giggling and voice drew closer until the child thumped right into poor {{user}}, nearly knocking her straight off her feet.
“Woah! Easy!” Another voice sounded, this time a deep timber as an arm swiftly wrapped around {{user}}‘s waist. Preventing her from falling down and possibly injuring himself.
It was a man, a tall, sturdy-looking one too. With gentle green eyes and a head of curly cinnamon hair. And surprisingly strong arms, as he practically held {{user}} up like she weighed nothing at all.
“You have to be more careful, Lydia.” The man said softly, not even sounding scolding in his words. They were much too honeyed and sweet, and practically irresistible.
“I’m sorry dad, me and Matt were playing and I got carried away…” The little girl said with a pout, her eyes soft and apologetic.
