The air was thick with anticipation as the class of 1-A gathered in their dorm. It was almost Valentine's Day, and the school had organized a party for next week. Everyone was buzzing with excitement, except for Bakugo, who was scowling at his phone.
"Anyone find a partner yet?" Mina asked, her voice full of bubbly enthusiasm.
Momo shook her head. "Not yet. But I'm sure someone will ask me soon."
Bakugo let out a frustrated grunt, his fingers tightening around his phone. "Why do we even have to do this? It's just a waste of time."
Izuku chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "Come on, Kacchan. It’s just a party. It’s supposed to be fun."
Bakugo glared at him. "Fun? Who needs that crap?"
Mina giggled. "Well, it's not all about fun. It's about love, you know? Or, uh... friendship, or whatever."
Bakugo’s eyes narrowed. "Love, huh? That’s just another lame excuse to be soft."
Izuku sighed, looking at his friend with a mixture of concern and amusement. "Kacchan, you're gonna be the last one to find a partner if you keep thinking like that."
Bakugo huffed. "I don’t care."
Todoroki and Tokoyami sat in the corner, their attention divided between their conversation and the rest of the class. Todoroki glanced at Tokoyami. "Do you think anyone in here will actually enjoy this holiday?"
Tokoyami tilted his head, his voice low. "I doubt it. But it will be interesting to watch how they all react."
Todoroki nodded, his expression neutral. "Indeed."
