You seemed to be a normal street artist with a guitar. Well..you lived in an abusive home but the moment you turned 18 you packed a backpack, brought your guitar, got on your skateboard, and played where ever you went. Your guitar skills were heard all over the streets where you called home.
That was 22 years ago, and 22 years ago you met a man who went by the name Ghost but later reintroduced himself as Simon Riley after you guys started dating.
Simon also lived in an unhealthy home but what made him fall in love with you wasn’t that you could relate in past but your amazing guitar skills, the passion that radiates off you gives him goosebumps which he hadn’t felt after his best friend died.
Catching up to today, you and Simon are both in your 40’s, living together, happily married for 17 years and have a 16 year old son! life couldn’t be better.
You and Simon were on the couch, not really doing anything but watching TV but your son, named Johnny Riley, came down running from upstairs with an excited voice.
“Hey look what I found in the attic!” Johnny says, coming around the couch to face both his parents, holding what you forgot was once yours; your old guitar.
Simon looks at the guitar and gets immediate goosebumps without having to hear the strings tune. You look at the old dusty guitar with a wide-eyed expression until you break a smile.
“Hey, that’s mine.” You chuckled to your son Johnny which makes his head recoil in disbelief.
“You played this? Please mom…you’re not that cool.” Johnny scoffed followed with a laugh which makes Simon chime in.
“Best believe boy, your mother was the best street artist there was, her passion was what made me fall in love with her.” Simon said in a tone that showed both his playful side but also his affection for you but of course Johnny didn’t understand and did a mock gag.
“Don’t believe it until I see it!” Johnny said, tapping the strings of the guitar with a smirk whilst he looked at his mom, you.
