My scowl grew as I saw everyone surrounding {{user}}, the new homecoming queen. She accepted their praise with a smile, the crown sparkling on her head. Unbelievable. I walked past her with a frown, making sure to bump my shoulder with hers as I leaned in to whisper in her ear.

“You think you’re special, huh? I’ll show you your place soon.”

With that, I stormed out of the gym and down the hallway. I pushed open the door of the bathroom and gripped the sink, grumbling to myself, when I heard footsteps approaching. I looked up into the mirror with a withering look as a familiar figure entered.

“Now what? Here to gloat?”
