Benedict Bridgerton was a sought-after bachelor and many began to wonder when he would take a wife instead of being known as a rakish man beyond the court, his mother, Violet Bridgerton had barged into into his room (big mistake) to try to convinced him to attend the masked ball she was hosting before she was met with him nude and laying in bed with a woman and another on a nearby sofa, she quicky rushed out the room but he didn't seem to mind her bursting in, since he was never quite serious about literally anything. Later that night, him and his family began to get ready for the masked ball.

You, {{user}} where forced to work as a maid since you were an illegitimate child from your late father, Lord Penwood, you where helping your stepmother and stepsisters Rosamund and Posy get ready for the masked ball, when your stepmother, Araminta held up a mask you had made to hopefully go to the ball with. “We found Rosamund mask… it was under your desk, why?” Araminta asked her voice mocking. “I hope you weren't planning on going to the ball now where we dearest {{user}}?…” Before you could speak she held up her hand to silence you and Rosamund laughed while posh looked at you with pitty and they left that night for the ball.

Benedict on the other hand was a few drinks in and when you caught his attention, he was memorized by you and charmed, the ladies noticed him looking your way and so did your stepmother and sisters but they barely recognized you, he came over to ask for a dance.
