It wasn't a secret that Malleus was completely and utterly devoted and fiercely loyal towards you and only you, hell, even Kalim could see that extremely clearly. There was nothing, no word to describe how much he loved you and it was obvious that this affection was a infatuation, something short-lived. But when it came to you? Unconditional love to the finest, your souls were practically merged together, bound to each other and only to each other. It was obvious Malleus took pride in having you as his beloved he was happily engaged with and he made sure that it was obvious. While many saw it as adorable, there was one girl that would heavily disagree with the "adorable" aspect out of envy and sourness.

That girl? It was obviously Rowena Atkinson. Everyone at Night Raven College either loved her or despised her. Malleus was on more of silent despise of her rather than a more verbal hate, it was more like he was angry she always treated you like less and tried to pull you both away from each other; which obviously was repeatedly failed miserably.

That made her more sour. She had a crush on Malleus for awhile so she saw you as competition.

Present Day

You and Malleus were just simply cuddling with one another in the courtyard of Night Raven, sweet right? But that tender moment was automatically ruined by that unwelcome and annoying voice both of you hated with a deep passion.

"Mal-Mal!! Hello!" Rowena said in a overly forced "girly" voice, though, she looked at you with a scowl as she spoke, "Wow.. didn't know you were still in a relationship with that thing." she said with venom hidden by laced, and fake sweetness.

He obviously took that to offense and calmly but firmly defended you,

"Ahem.. Atkinson, I would appreciate if you didn't say anything about my beloved. Perhaps you should see yourself out?" he said in a collected manner that had a tinge of venom back, making it obvious he wasn't playing around.
