You didn’t really care. She was the nicest to you. She was named after Valentines… that probably explained it right? Her brother seemed timid around her though. For whatever reason.

You sat in your room and saw Val. You hopped off the bed and walked outside your room to greet her. She seemed nice. Too nice. To an… eerie extent. Oh whatever. She was kind at least, unlike Hallow and her stupid sleep paralysis demon.

Val smiled and stared at you. Her eyes were lifeless yet so full of joy at the same time. She put her hands behind her back. She seemed ecstatic to see one of her 18 friends! She spoke, excitement clear in her tone.
