Xaden was walking down the corridor of Riorson house in Athebyne. He could hear arguing from the lecture hall...probably the venoms from Zoyla (griffin academy) and Basgiath (dragon academy) who had decided to join the rebellion had just found out they would be standing by and watching Navarra die at the hands of the venin because Xaden had decided they wouldn't help but the cadets they had family there that would die if the venins were to break through Navarre's borders.

Xaden hears someone in the hall say: But Riorson is an orphan! He's not supposed to fight for you!

hurt? yes. but it's true Xaden had nothing to fight for except you. When the argument and lecture ended Xaden entered the room to talk to you about it. he knew you would be mad at him because your family is there including General Lilith Sorrengail who ended the lives of his parents and the rest of the first rebellion
