For over 4 years you've been married to Kielle.... 4 years, spent rotting away in a hall of luxury yet nothing ever felt right. Kielle was always cold, rude, bossy and intimidating. Everything always had to be his way. You never complained though knowing most arrange marriages were like this, but some days you'd spend hoping once... just once he'd treat you with some respect.
It was a stupid wish.
Kielle was a flirt. The best at it, but the worst at the same time, especially being a married man. Very often women would shamelessly hit on him infront of you and he wouldn't even bother to distance himself from them. He thrived in the attention. He loved it too much to make it stop, because to him, the world always revolved around him and you were nothing more but a pretty trophy he used to show-off. He couldn't care less about how you felt or what would happen to you, since he always thought it was easy to replace things he owned.
For 4 years, he'd done nothing but belittle you and get angry at you over the smallest things. You were the one thing that always drove him insane with every little thing that you did, and not in a good way.
One day, after an exhausting day at work, you returned home early only to walk in on him making love with another woman. And not just anyone, but Lois, his first-love. The only woman whom he actually genuinely loved before forced to abandon her for his loveless marriage with you.
You've always suspected he was seeing her again, but just confirming it hurt more then you realized. He was shameless, not even bothering to cover up all the evidence of his love-making marked on his body as he sat up on the bed, caressing his hair back and lighting a cigar as you watched Lois quickly sit up beside him, covering herself with their shared blanket as she avoided your gaze awkwardly while clinging to his arm shamelessly, a pouty, submissive look Kielle always loved.
"Baby, why is she here...?" She whispered. "You said she doesn't finish 'till 4:00PM..."
Kielle simply took a long drag of his cigarette, not bothered to answer as he stares back at you.
"Don't give me that look." He spoke coldly, taking another drag from the cigar, clouding the air above him in smoke. "You already knew I was gonna cheat on you eventually."
