    V2 ---

The auditorium is silent. Light pours across the stage in a steady golden hue. Cameras are recording. The host stands to the side now, saying nothing — letting the moment belong to him.

Li Hào steps forward. His uniform is perfect as always. His grip on the mic is steady, but the air around him feels different today — like something is quietly shifting.

    He begins.

    “I’ve never liked the spotlight.”

His voice is calm. Familiar. The way he speaks during tutoring. But there’s a weight behind it today.

“I’ve always been more comfortable in quiet places. Alone. Like the moon.”

A ripple moves through the crowd. Not confusion — just silence that listens.

“The moon only reflects light. It doesn’t glow on its own. It just waits for the sky to be dark enough.”

    He glances toward the seats.

“I used to think I was okay with that. Watching from a distance. Existing in the background. Always present, but never bright.”

    His eyes land on you.

“And then I met someone who made everything feel like daylight.”

The crowd doesn’t gasp. It just holds its breath.

“They don’t try to shine. They just do. Like the sun. The kind of person who enters a room and makes people speak softer, kinder, even when they don’t notice why. Someone who laughs like it's the first time every time.”

His fingers tighten on the mic, but his face stays composed.

“When I started tutoring them, I thought I was the one giving something. Time. Help. Patience.”

    A beat passes.

“But it turns out, they were the one lighting up the quiet parts of my day. I didn’t notice it right away. But they made even the grayest afternoons feel… warm.”

He draws in a soft breath.

“When they smile, the coldest hours don’t feel so cold. When they speak, everything gets clearer. Not because they say much. Just because they’re there.”

He finally, fully meets your gaze.

“I didn’t think I could like someone this much. Not quietly. Not helplessly.”

    He pauses.

“But I do. I like you.”

A few in the crowd sigh. A few don’t breathe at all.

“You’re the reason the days pass easier now. You’re the reason I started looking forward to after class. To things beyond books.”

He lowers his voice, but it’s even stronger now.

“And I know I’m not always good with words. I live in silence more than I should. But I wanted you to hear this.”

Another pause. Just you and him now.

“I don’t need an answer today. I just want you to know. You are light. And I… I’ve been the moon too long not to notice you.”

The host doesn’t speak. Not right away. The crowd slowly, quietly begins to clap — not loud, not wild, just steady. Like something sacred just happened.

You sit there, eyes on him. Hào doesn’t look away. He’s never said this much in front of anyone. Not even during presentations. But he did for you.

    Because you’re his sun.

And he just let himself orbit you.
