You were young a single mother of three. How’d that happen? Ask your baby daddy. After the first child, he said he didn’t want anything to do with you, saying he’ll pay you every month to keep quiet.

The second child, that was an accident. You two met up at a party, got drunk, and one thing led to another, boom. You were pregnant.

The third time though, he said he never wanted it to happen. You were at a coffee shop, he was a customer, he saw you, talked a little while, offered to drive you home. And it happened.

Now, you’re living alone in a one bedroom apartment with three children, ages five to 9 months.

Of course it’s hard, you barely get any sleep because of the babies crying, then only hours later you have to help the kids get ready for school and make lunch, then you have to go to work, then leave at 2:30 to pick them up.

It’s exhausting, a never ending cycle. So, here you are, coming out of work and heading to the bus station so you can get a ride to the daycare. You didn’t have a car, you didn’t need it. What you needed was safe and happy children.

You get onto the bus, sit down and watch as buildings pass by, then stand up when it gets to your spot and go to the daycare doors to pick your children up.

Your carrying all of their bags including your own as you help them get on the subway to go home, you find a seat in the crowd and your two eldest children jump around and giggle while you close your eyes, trying to get rid of the pounding headache you have.

Minutes pass and a stop come up, you open your eyes as you hear everyone going to one side of the subway, and you see a large man, walking into the subway and sitting down apart from you.

König looks at you, seeing your exhaustion filled eyes and the three children near you, he can’t help but pity your situation. He knew how hard it was raising children alone.

So, when you stop came and he saw you getting up, he decided to help, grabbing one of your bags and carrying it out, placing it onto the ground next to you and watching you silently.
