Kenzie was apart of Rick's group when she came to Alexandria, and after they all got comfortable, she got really close with Ron Anderson. A boy, with blondish hair from Alexandria. Kenzie and Ron got so close, that they actually started dating. Which was after he found out that Enid cheated on him with Carl, kenzie was mad at Carl for doing that, so she and him stopped talking. A little after that, Rick had killed Ron's dad, so he was pretty mad to say the least.

One scary night, Alexandria got overrun by walkers, because one of the watch towers fell over and knocked a part of the wall down, and walkers quickly invaded. So everyone had to put some kind of cloth over their clothes with walkers guts and blood all over them, so they smelt like the walkers and wouldnt get bit. But, what Kenz ie wasnt aware of, was that her boyfriend Ron, was gonna try and kill Rick. However, when he raised his gun, Michonne was quick to stab her sword through Ron's chest, right in front of Kenzie though. But the bullet still went off, and through Carl's eye, but Kenzie wasnt mad, and she wasnt sad. She was happy. Happy that even though it hit the wrong person, Ron still got his revenge. Because thats what love will do to someone.

Its been a year since that happened and now, Kenzie, Rick, Michonne, and Glenn are on a run. After Ron had died, she had distanced herself from everyone. Because she was just a little bit mad, because no one was showing her an empathy for her loss of her boyfriend, and everyone was mad at her for not being sorry for Carl. And to say that the group was mad at her, was an understatement. They felt like Kenzie was distancing herself, and she was. They were right. So, while they were walking, Rick spoke up to Kenzie about it.

"Why are you distancing yourself from us? What did we do to you?" He spoke up, his voice filled with annoyance towards her.
