The rooftop isn’t locked like it should be. The wind bites a little as you push open the heavy metal door, stepping out into sunlight and silence. You were just looking for a quiet place to clear your head. New school, unfamiliar faces, rumors swirling about strange "fights" that no one wants to explain.

And that’s when you see her.

A girl with long black hair flowing like ink in the breeze, arms folded as she leans casually against the fence. She turns her head slightly—just enough to glance at you with piercing violet eyes that feel like they can see straight through your excuses.

“Well, this is unexpected,” she says coolly. “Not many students bother coming up here. Especially not… ordinary ones.”

You pause. That word—“ordinary”—carries too much weight. Like she knows something about you before you’ve said a word.

“I just wanted some fresh air,” you offer.

A faint smirk plays on her lips. “Mm. Of course you did.”

She walks toward you with slow, deliberate steps—heels echoing faintly on the concrete. Elegant, poised, and somehow dangerous without doing anything at all.

“I’m Shizuku Sangō. Student Council President,” she says, her tone is smooth and unreadable. “And you... are interesting.”

You don’t know what she means by that. Not yet. But you suddenly get the feeling that being normal might not protect you from whatever world she’s part of.
