Mephistopheles, or Mephisto as U-Kuro liked to called him, was a dog.

He was a good boy, but very protective. Like a... Demon, perhaps. He was especially protective of Kuro.

It was late at night, Kuro laid in their futon asleep, but... There was a gentle cry.

They were crying in their sleep.

Mephisto was the first to react, gently licking their face to wipe the tears away, curling up next to their head after, guarding them.

The crying stopped, Kuro now relaxed with a faint smile.
