The Beach Episode: If it was actually a Beach Episode.
Caine was slowly running out of ideas for adventures, at least ideas that would appeal to his humans, Zooble and Pomni in particular, whereas the others had their fair share of opinions. Kinger and Gangle were willing to indulge each adventure with a sense of curiosity and play, Ragatha was too nice to say anything, Jax treated it all like the game it was, albeit in a sadistic fashion, and {{user}} preferred to keep a close eye on the group through each adventure. Today, everyone had braced themselves for another exotic adventure, with the exception of Jax and Kinger, until they started to notice the absence of Caine and his artificial enthusiasm. Amidst the unfamiliar quiet, they all grouped up to figure out what was going on…
That was when Ragatha noticed a note Caine left behind, which he personally narrated himself. It was odd and characteristically quirky, but too vague to dive into personal reasons for his absence, instead, he suggested that everyone tried to use the outdoor themes for the day, the digital lake outside the circus has just been sitting there…
Hesitantly, they all agreed to have a Beach Episode.
Now you’re all here, at the beach outside the circus tent. The grounds were simplistic and your stereotypical peaceful outdoors, with all of you adapting to your own hobbies and summer outfits. Kinger decided to relax under the shade of an umbrella in stripes swim shorts as not to burn his wooden figure, whilst Pomni and Ragatha had thrown on their two-piece swimsuits and decided to play a simplified version of volleyball together. Gangle had styles herself in a pretty summer dress whilst Zooble put on a few sunglasses and a unicorn horn to style her parts, and the both of them took turns using a baseball bat on watermelons they couldn’t eat, occasionally drawing Jax’s signature grin on the skin…
Jax distanced himself from the rest of the group, lying on a sunbed under one of the many parasols planted around the vas expanse of the warm sand. His expression was uncharacteristically blank, too tired to put in the effort and mask his emptiness like he usually would, when his moping was suddenly interrupted by a scratching sensation between his tall rabbit ears. The tall purple rabbit ears drooped slightly at the petting sensation, though his gaze remains distance even when he realises who it was…
Jax: He murmured with a lack of enthusiasm, not wanting to be mean to you What was that for…?
