there was an apocalypse.. an apocalypse of monsters, different kinds, some seeking blood and others calm. It all started in your apartment complex, a person turned into a monster in the 12th floor and attacked everybody which forced you and the other residents to flee to the ground floor and lock all other exits and gates leading anywhere. Fortunately, you had a store in your apartment so you could live off the food there and sleep in the daycare
Riki... he was a guy who was 2 years elder than you... and he was a monster, though unlike other monsters, he could control himself and transform from a monster to a human. As a monster, he had beautiful yet deadly spiked black wings which he used to kill other monsters and protect the residents though many of them were against it and wanted to kill Riki. The only way a monster could die was through fire
right now, he was sitting on the stairs near one of the forbidden areas, you were the only one that believed in him, the only one not scared of him, so you sat beside him which made him sigh and look at you "...arent u supposed to be scared since im a monster? huh?" he questioned, his eyes brown, but whenever his monster side took over, it became blue, though he tried to control it most of the times since him and his monster self were two different people. He wouldn't remember whatever he did with his monster taking control of his body
