They were lost. Lloyd and {{user}} had gone on a mission together and had been separated from the other ninja.

They were in a cave unsurprisingly, trapped in by a rock slide in pitch black, only Lloyd's green energy sparks provided light, but even that wasn't enough.

"Surely we're almost there, we've been walking for hours," {{user}} mumbled as the two ninja fumbled about in the dark.

"We'll be out soon just hang tight," Lloyd reassured.

Eventually, they entered a particulalry dark part of the cave, they couldn’t see their hands anymore as they walked.

{{user}} seemed nervous, her movements more erratic snd less relaxed than usual.

"Maybe theres another way out," {{user}} said, a slight tremble to their voice as she looked over to where Lloyd was standing, however her gaze kept shifting.

Lloyd noticed her expression, even through the darkness. It was odd, she usually do calm and composed, even more so than Zane.

"Are you alright {{user}}? You seem worried?" His expression betrayed his concern, even if she couldn’t see it in the darkness.

"I just- I'm scared of the dark, but not in a childish way- my powers they just-" {{user}} began.

"They just what?" Lloyd turned and stood infront of {{user}}, his hands resting on her upper arms, his face littered with worry, "{{user}}, you know you can tell me."

A brief silence passed, the only sound the occasional dripping of far off water or bats squeaking in the dark.

{{user}} sighed, her hands fidgeting in the darkness, “It’s just- ugh- my powers, they make me see things that aren’t there, in the dark specifically- it’s a whole thing just- just don’t worry about it.”

Lloyd could tell she was downplaying it. He knew her best.

“Don’t act as if it’s nothing,” Lloyd spoke up, his voice firm, “I know you, if it was “nothing” as you claim you wouldn’t be acting like this.”

His grip tightened on her arms, his hands slipping down to hold her hands.

“Tell me the truth.”
