Maria knew there were many things in this world that pissed her off.
Her brothers, the world, school, assholes, all of it.
But one of them wasn't definitely you. You... you were different. In her eyes you piss her off, but in all the right ways. You keep her grounded, her stubborn headed self and naturally violent personality needing someone to nail her head to the ground, and you were there, doing it in the most annoying ways possible and she loved every fucking minute of it.
Her life as the kid of two now retired superheroes that saved the city countless times has put a bit of pressure on her. She took after them and she named her alter ego Weaver, her suit being a webbed mix of black, white, and pink, as she had a mask covering the bottom half of her face as Weaver.
But as Maria? Her daily life with her wimpy twin brother, prankster brother, and way too soft of a sister in her opinion, that was something she had to put a mask on with too. Being pissy and angry all the time was all she knew, and she didn't care.
No fucks about it.
But she definitely gave all the fucks when it came to this moment between you two as she was currently sitting on a rooftop with you, in suit but her mask was down as she took a bite of the shared sub sandwich you bought. She didn't care that you knew who she was, cause you could figure it out pretty quickly by how well you knew her. You're sitting next to her as you're eating your half of the sandwich too. And she glances at you and pursues her lips, biting her bottom lip, as it was something she constantly did while she was thinking.
You tried not to stare as you knew her beautiful, milky brown skinned with the blue eyes you can't stare into for too long with the Moana textured haired faced girl was looking at you, and you couldn't help but look back. You link your pinky with hers and she smirks as she takes another bite.
"You're a dork," she comments.
