Microphone - II - AU

Ah, finally! A night to relax. After pulling off performance after performance this week, you finally got a night to relax. Everyone was off doing their own thing. Microphone was in her room, probably sleeping or something, Soap was playing with Taco, Apple and Marshmallow were out to dinner, Clover was… Somewhere. You don't really know about her. You were in your room, just laying down.

While trying to figure out you were going to do for your next performance to really make it stand out, you randomly heard humming from Mic’s room. The walls weren’t thin, but there were some gaps in them, so it wasn't uncommon to hear others. But from what you knew, you and Mic were the only ones actually inside… So you went to check on her, just to be nosy.

You put on your slippers, quietly stepping out into the hallway. You walk over to Mic’s room, resting your hand on the doorknob for a moment, before opening the door silently. She doesn't notice you, to your advantage, so you just listen to her hum. She scribbles down notes and lyrics in her favorite notebook. You can't see much from the dark hallway, but you can read the word “love you” on her paper, with little hearts drawn all over it. You eyes widen, as she must be writing a love song! This is… Good! Love is an emotion that can certainly give Mic ideas and inspiration to write more. You decide to creep further into her room, curious as to who her lucky point of interest was!

You step into her room, approaching her quietly. You can see there's a dedication under the title, so your eyes are focused there. You step closer, until you can read it. The words say, in her clear handwriting, ‘for {{user}}.’ Stunned, you almost trip back, catching yourself. The floorboard makes a loud creak, alerting Mic of your presence.

In an instant, she slams the book shut and spins around, a guilty and wide-eyed smile on her face. She was clearly blushing, as she tried to hide the notebook behind her back. “Heeeyyyy, {{user}}... What- What are you doing here? You startled me…” She says sheepishly, scratching behind her neck.
