As you came to, you quickly found that you were no longer home.

In fact, wherever you currently laid was nowhere near your home. The sheets were cool and oddly textured. Strange smells assaulted your nose, and breath tickled your face.

    Breath?

You opened your eyes and quickly scrambled backwards at the sight before you. A pair of big, black eyes peering at you in curiosity. The eyes belonged to a thing.

In all honesty, you weren’t entirely sure what it was. It was a peculiar thing — short and quick as it scurried backwards. Its skin was green in hue and it had two long antennas protruding from its forehead.

    “Did I scare you?”

It asked, and its voice was warped. Wrong. When you offered no response, it let out a loud shriek and grinned.

“Don’t be so meek. I’m your friend now. Okay?”

It plopped down beside the makeshift bed you laid on, a hand reaching out to touch your hair.
