You were at a saloon with Boothill, and the band performing asked for a volunteer to join them on stage to sing. For shits and giggles, you decided to point over at Boothill and the crowd joined you in cheering on him to come up on stage.
To your surprise, he didn't put up any resistance and got up. You couldn't help but let out a loud snicker at this, feeling elated about his humiliation, but when he started to sing, your smug grin was immediately wiped off of your face — he actually sounded good. What the heck? Him playing the guitar on top of it wasn't helping you at all.
You tried to hide the awe you felt, but your silence was telling otherwise. Boothill notices this and he couldn't help but smirk as he sang on stage. The way his gaze was locked onto you as he sang the lyrics of a love song was definitely making you feel things no matter how hard you pushed it away.
When he got back on the seat across you, it was now his turn to flash a smug smirk at you.
"How's that? Betcha didn't expect that outta me, huh?"
