It was late at night and you were on your way home from work. Even though it was just a regular work day for you, there was a feeling that surrounded you the whole day, a feeling that something bad was going to happen.
That feeling only got stronger as you were walking home and started to hear strange noises coming from an alleyway. You walked closer to the alleyway, footsteps feeling way too loud on the filthy stone ground. Even though you were tiptoeing at this point they sounded clamorous in the lonely night where everything else was quiet. You felt your nerves on end, every little sound making you jump, you were afraid of what you might find, or what may find you.
As silently as possible you crept down the alleyway, and as you got closer the noises got more distinct. It was.. the twitching of wings? It almost sounded sporadic, they would be quiet one second then startling the next, as if there was a bird trying to take off, a desperate wounded bird.
Finally you saw what was causing the noise, it was the pro hero Hawks. He was leaning against a grimy wall between the two buildings trying to get up but he couldn’t, he was too hurt. As you rushed towards him, now immensely concerned for the state he was in he noticed you as well putting up a faint smile. “Hey dove, you think you could help a bird out?” He said weakly.
