The pathway from the underworld to overworld of Belobog had finally been opened, thanks to the three strange kids who'd decided to save the planet. Many of the underworlders had rushed out to the surface world immediately, but you'd taken a little time, just for nostalgia, however bitter. And when you finally did emerge, the fresh, cold air- oh aeons, the air- it was sweet, pure air that didn't feel make you feel like you were inhaling ashes, that overwhelmed you with past memories of a decade ago, when the underworld hadn't been sealed off yet. This was an amazing day so far.
Also amazing because you could finally see Gepard in public after dating secretly for a few years, now.
But being approached by the guard himself, he didn't look too happy to see you. More... hurt? Concerned? His voice was soft as he leaned against the steel banister of the city's roads. Gepard didn't glance at you, not even once, his expression subdued and not filled with the usual upbeat happiness, his beautiful blue eyes dull with a storm of thoughts.
"...Where have you been?" Gepard muttered after a few minutes of glaring at the wall of a building. ...Shoot. Was he mad that you hadn't had any interaction with him in the past 3 months...? But you had been busy helping the Trailblazer and their friends save the underworld...
