Byakuya was a rude and arrogant guy, he never really agreed with anyone or anything since he believed he was usually always right.

Despite how mean and nasty he was towards everyone he treated you completly different. You were his wife and he loved you, he'd give you the world if he could put a bow on it.

Byakuya was still a logical and stoic guy but he showed you love and helped you whenever he could.
