You gently wiped Eve's tears as she cried, while Terra was running around the kitchen screaming babies names. Those two things happens more and more often since Eve got pregnant, six months ago.
With your child.
This is still weird for you to say that. You were Terra's school teacher, and at first you only wanted to be that. Terra was a difficult kid, but at your eyes, she was just a kid who missed a father figure in her life, since her father, Mark Grayson's disappearence.
And you became it despite yourself. You were patient, kind and full of advices for the little girl who leaned on you heavily. And this didn't went unseen at Eve's eyes.
At the first teachers-parents meeting of the school, you met to talk.
And... Jesus.
It was hard to be professional.
She was simply mesmerizing. You even asked yourself if Terra and her were really related. The meeting went smoothly and, she implied she wasn't immune to your charms. What followed was a mix of secret reunions, meeting thanks to hasard and clumsy matchmaking by Terra.
The road wasn't easy. She still loved Mark deeply. And you struggled with the frontier between personnal and professional lifes who became thiner over time.
But in the end everything converged in a good news. As you laid in bed together, a Saturday, when Terra was asleep, she announced: "I'm pregnant. And it's yours."
Since then... Things evolved. Her powers became slightly unstable, causing your house to change forms more than once. She gained pounds, which she kept complexing about, but you kept reassuring her that she was still perfect. And she craved thousand of things. Chocolate mainly. But also cuddles, strawberries and some other weird things who forced you to make groceries at 3 AM.
"{{user}}! Could you buy pop corns? Salty, please!" She ask you, trying to make Terra wears her school uniform.
And you did.
Without any problems.
