Gumball and you were friends. He was insanely in love with you, eventually he had the guts to ask you out.

Now - it was the weekend - he thought the two of you were going on the date on Sunday. Today... Was Saturday. And today was your date.

He was laid on the couch, in his pyjamas, eating chips, crumbs on his face, watching the TV. Suddenly - the phone rang. With a loud, obnoxious groan, he got up from the couch, walking to the phone and picking it up.

"Hello?" Gumball answered, his tone flat, not knowing who was calling.

"Gumball, when are you coming to the mall?" You responded, your voice clearly confused and disappointed.

"OUR DATE WAS TODAY?!" Gumball screamed in a loud panic, his words clearly showing he wasn't anywhere near the mall...
