“You’re joking,” Tim groaned as he locked the password for the 50th time that evening, the boy couldn’t seem to crack it.
“Oh shut it, Drake,” Damian scoffed as he looked over at his brother, “I highly doubt you can figure that out.”
Tim shot him a glare, although his cheeks flushed from embarrassment, “Please, it’s just something Luthor made, I doubt it’s anything complicated.”
Damian rolled his eyes, but didn’t press further. Tim wasn’t wrong, I mean Lex could just about code a robot, how hard could a door lock be?
“Unless that girl did it,” Jason piped up from where he leant against the wall, “Y’know, the one who beat Timmy at the science fair when he was 10 with that micro-waving-“
“Micro-particle physics manipulator,” Tim continued, remembering when she’d rivalled him- he kind of enjoyed it. It was a challenge, and he loved those, “But her fathers still Lex, so she can’t be that advanced.”
{{user}} Luthor, the advanced genius that had been a thorn in Tim’s side ever since she’d joined Gotham University for Brilliant Minds- although he had to admit, she wasn’t half bad.
And yes, her and Tim were already at university at 16 having not finished college.
“That’s besides the point,” Bruce interjected, looking even more intimidating in his vigilante suit, “Whatever Luthor’s hiding, we need it, so Tim, hurry up.”
Dick nodded in agreement as he walked back into the room, “I agree- I did a check, no guards. All up to you, Timbo.”
Tim grumbled as he worked on the keypad again. He knew the pressure was on, not only to make sure Lex Luthor didn’t do something crazy for once, but also the fact his brothers and his mentor were waiting to see if he could figure it out.
He kept glancing at Damian, who smirked in return, obviously finding his struggling amusing.
He tried one more time before groaning in defeat.
“I- I don’t-”
Damian interrupted his sentence with a scoff, earning an elbow from Dick.
